90 years in existence, 90 years of experience...
In 1920, William Champfort offered the first ski-rental service in Megève.
In 1933, the Champfort Sports ski shop opened its doors in Route Edmond de Rothschild, which at the time marked the foot of the pistes!!!
In 1970, Philippe Scuotto joined the Champfort Sports team, managed by Raymonde Champfort.
35 years later, Philippe was succeeded by Frédéric Goujat, already well experienced in the renting of ski equipment thanks to his several seasons spent managing the Mont d'Arbois shop, and by Philippe's daughter, Valentine Scuotto, who up until then had travelled the world first as a downhill racer and then as a ski-cross competitor (winning the Crystal Globe in 2003 and the Silver Medal at the 2007 X-Games).
The Champfort Sports shop is now managed by this friendly, dynamic pair, both of whom are keen to share their love of skiing with each and every visitor!!!
